I’m not a morning person whatsoever. For real! Just ask my husband, lol. I’ve been trying to change that because I’ve seen how much my husband enjoys waking up early and getting things done. That and my mornings tend to be pretty chaotic when I wake up at the same time as the girls.
For the last 2-3 weeks, I’ve been determined to wake up between 5:30-6am to have some time for myself. Truth be told, I’m not always successful, and some days I wake up closer to 6:30 but I have not given up. Waking up before the kids wake up is an awesome start to my day. I get some much needed quiet time, time with God, time to plan my day, and time to drink my coffee before it gets cold (I bet a lot of you momma’s are like, ahhh yess!). So today, I’m sharing with you my morning routine and a free morning worksheet called My Morning with God…. I’ll get more into details later on about that *wink.
1. First things first. Pray!
2. Read some scripture and journal.
3. Grab a cup of coffee.
4. Work. Work. Work.
Like I said earlier, each day is different. Sometimes I succeed with this routine, other days, momma just needs to sleep in (that God for being a SAHM, I literally get to choose my schedule).
