. . . Seasons may change.
. . . Times may change.

But through the years, through the season, and throughout the entirety of time, one thing remains.

✨THE WORD OF GOD!

It has not changed to give you new instructions in the New Year.

It has not changed to give you a different direction in the new season.

It has not changed to mean anything less than what it is throughout time.

The Word of God is just as powerful as it was when it was written. It’s just as powerful as it was when you and I were littles. It’s alive and very much useful today as it was yesterday.

CHURCH: We need to STOP accommodating the Bible to the times we are living in and instead accommodate our lives to how scripture says we ought to live despite the times we are living. We need to STOP reading the Bible when it’s convenient only.

PREACHERS/TEACHERS: we need to STOP taking away from what is written in the Bible to soften it up and make it look pretty and pleasing to the sinning heart. We were left with this powerful book to be confronted and awakened spiritually. STOP SUGARCOATING SCRIPTURE!

YOUNG PEOPLE: we need to STOP thinking the Bible is for old folk! Read your Bible and watch God speak to you! Leaving it open to psalms 23 while it collects dust won’t do you any good!

The Word of God is what it is and it will NEVER CHANGE. It’s time we treat it has such!

Most impatient: Me 100%

Most sensitive: him

Loudest: ME for sure

Most stubborn: both

Falls asleep first: him

Cooks better: ehhh me? 😂

Better morning person: Him

Better driver: Me

Most competitive: Me

Funniest: Depends who you ask

Where do you eat out most as a couple: Chinese buffet

Who is more social? him

Who is the neat freak? Me

Where was your first kiss? Living room 🙈

Who initiated your first kiss? Him (I lost a bet)

Do you get flowers often? Randomly

How long did it take to get serious? He proposed after 1 year of dating

Who plans date night? Mostly him

Who picks where you go to dinner? Mostly him (I never know what I want)

Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong? Me

Who wears the pants in the relationship? No comment 😂
